Sowing the Seed - May 19
- This is a church wide event to plant nearly the
entire garden. It was very successful. We even had some families from
the community because the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools requires
community service hours.
- Removed the last remaining weeds along the western wall
- We planted eggplant, squash of verious sorts, tomatos
(the SS strated some from seed and we were given others from the Great
Tomato Give Away).
- We also hoed the potato patch. This was planted late but appears to have rebounded and the plants are doing great.
- Spread leaves over the area in which hte squash and pumpkin had been planted.
